• From Jhb take the N3 to Durban.
• Take the Heidelberg North off ramp and turn left over the freeway. Turn left after the bridge and follow the ring road around Heidelberg (do not go into the town).
• At the stop street, continue straight and turn next right onto the R549 to Vaal Dam. Continue for approximately 45kms, (do not turn off at the new 4 way stop approx. 30+ kms along the way).
• Proceed to the intersection with the R54 (Villiers left / Vereeniging right / Deneyesville straight). Turn left to Villiers.
• After 14kms you will see a signboard that says Vaal Marina.
• Turn right (follow signs to Vaal Dam Properties or Bayshore Marina).
• Make sure that you drive right through the village of Vaalmarina, out the other side until you come to a big blue tank on your left hand side.
• Turn right, up the hill. At the next T-Junction turn left.
• 2kms down the road is Bayshore Marina.
• The marina entrance is at the beginning of the long white wall.

• Take the Johan Le Roux Turn off.
• Turn left towards Meyerton. Continue until the end of the road. Turn right.
• At the petrol garage turn left, over the river bridge, and continue.
• Go past the cemetery and at the stop street turn right. Continue up over the railway bridge to the stop street.
• Cross over the R42 and continue to the next intersection that says R54 left to Villiers or right to Vereeniging.
• Turn left to Villiers.
• After approximately 34kms you will see a signboard that says Vaal Marina. Turn right. (follow the signs to Vaal Dam Properties or Bayshore Marina).
• Make sure that you drive right through the village of Vaalmarina, out the other side until you come to a big blue tank on your left hand side.
• Turn right, up the hill. At the next T-Junction turn left.
• 2kms down the road is Bayshore Marina.
